CURRENT INSTRUMENT ISSUES

  1. UKIRT will be closed from August 22 - September 9 (inclusive), so that the primary mirror can be aluminized and WFCAM reinstalled. UKIRT will be in Wide Field Mode after this until the start of December 2008.  Click here for general details of the timeline for switching between UKIRT instrument modes.
  2. The Cassegrain mode is scheduled to be available again from December, 2008.

QUEUE TABLE


This table shows the current occupancy of the UKIRT PATT-allocated queue. Projects are listed in order of decreasing TAG grade. Projects are only listed if they have MSBs that have passed the vetting process and which are currently observable between UT hours 4 and 17 (6pm to 7am). The table is currently updated at least every Thursday (HST); check the document date at the foot of the page and occasional indicators against each item.
