Unfortunately due to the fact that the IFD had been unavailable for
some time, few beam maps have been made with the heterodyne instruments
(see the
user guide).
We shall try to use E&C time to obain these maps as soon as possible.
The SCUBA maps of Uranus were obtained with a chopping angle of 120" in Azi,
except the map of 5 May 2001, for which an angle of 90" was used.
In February 2002 it was noted that the SCUBA beam at 450 micron looked rather
bad. Some data are collected in:
February 2002 450 micron beams.
In November 2002 some beam maps were taken at Mars with different heterodyne
receivers.
However Mars was relatively close to the Sun and the maps were made after
sunrise. Therefore probably they are different from the beams at nighttime.
Some older information is available in the
FTP archive.
